Primal Scream release their brand new version of the psychedelic psycho-sexual cowboy classic ‘Some Velvet Morning’ featuring Kate Moss on Monday (17th November)…

‘Some Velvet Morning’ was originally recorded by Nancy Sinatra and Lee Hazlewood in 1968. Here Kate Moss plays Nancy to Bobby’s Lee. Kate has known Primal Scream for over 10 years, and previously sang with the on a track ‘Diamond Blue’ that appeared accompanied by a video on the internet in 2000. She also starred in their 1997 video for the single ‘Kowalski’, in which she and fellow model knock the band out with bottles and kidnap them.

‘Some Velvet Morning’ features a psychedelic sleeve drawn and designed by the illustrator/fashion designer Julie Verhoeven.
