Sissy Wish (AKA Siri Walberg) may only have emerged on the Norwegian music scene last year but she has quickly propelled herself to being one of the country’s premier live acts and it’s more than easy to see why. The four tracks on this, her debut single, show many sides to her Tori Amos-influenced music; from The Six Feet Tall with its fast, punky edge, to the reserved, piano-driven Hero Man, the lilting Gravity Road and the more dancey An Event. Debut singles don’t come any better than this. (AM)
