A trawl of The Wildhearts’ archive pulled together this collection of 20 b-sides and other rarities. Frankly, some of them should have stayed where they were (I’m still undecided on whether or not their cover of the Cheers theme tune rests in that category) but on the whole we find The Wildhearts at their riffing and harmonising best here. Wildhearts fans are going to love this CD. (AM)
