Ché - Chase The Day (CD Review)
Ché drummer Tim Jones discovered his band’s frontwoman, 16 year old Lydia Papaphilippopoulos, while teaching in a Worcester secondary school. She was singing in the next room, he gave her a demo and the rest, as they say, is history.
Mixing pop and metal influences, the band use Lydia’s voice to it’s fullest, from melodic to screaming. No, this is nothing new and the screamingparts aren’t really up to scratch but this EP show the potential for this to be a really great band - the diverse influeces, intelligence and excellent vocalist should see to that.
