Swap festival in Manchester

What’s this, another festival to add to your calendar, surely not? This one, in case you wondered, is a “celebration of Manchester’s unique global position in the world of rock and pop”, so there you go. It’s called the Swap Festival and on the bill will be George Clinton (Funkadelic/Parliament), I Am Kloot, Stephen Fretwell, Gretchen Peters, King Creosote, Thea Gilmore, Liam Frost & The Slowdown Family, Sandi Thom, Cara Dillon, Cherry Ghost and some others.
