Scissor Sisters are to play a surprise show next week, appearing at London’s Scala on Monday. The group, who recently announced details of their new album ‘Ta Dah’, out on 18 September, are, of course, set to appear at Bestival in the same month.

Tickets for the gig (check Ticketmaster.co.uk), staged as part of the Popstarz club night, go on sale on Friday.
