As previously reported, The Killers are currently finishing their sophomore album in London with Flood and Alan Moulder, and it’s expected to be out on 18 September. They’ve now, however, revealed details of some of the songs likely to appear on the long player. Whether these names mean anything to you at all probably depends on your fan-status. Here they are, whatever level you’re at:
Why Do I Keep Counting?
Bones
When You Were Young
Uncle Johnny Took Cocaine
Sam’s Town
Read My Mind
Bling
Brandon Flowers tells NME in the new issue: “For me, this is the album. I feel totally empowered by singing it. There’s a spiritual element to the music that wasn’t there before.”
