After the success of their Mercury Prize nominated album “Ballad Of The Broken Seas” of which NME called “an instant classic”, Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan will finally perform live together for the first time.
These much anticipated and long awaited shows are sure to sell out immediately. See them at the following places:
January (tickets)
21 – GLASGOW ABC
23 – LONDON SCALA
24 – BRIGHTON KOMEDIA
25 – BRISTOL ST.GEORGES
It’s been a busy year for Isobel, the former Belle & Sebastian singer, who, as well as releasing “Ballad Of The Broken Seas” in May, also put out her low-key folk album “Milkwhite Sheets” in October this year to critical acclaim. Isobel also took to the road for the first time as a solo artist to promote “Ballad” but without Mark Lanegan. However, former Eugenius vocalist Eugene Kelly stepped in to take his place.
Mark Lanegan, best known for his time as the gravelly-voiced singer with Screaming Trees and latterly for his stint as a part-time member of Queens Of The Stone Age has been in the UK recently. He has been performing live with ex-Afghan Whigs vocalist Greg Dulli’s new band The Twilight Singers of whom he will also be recording an album.
