Arctic Monkeys announce massive gig

Arctic Monkeys have announced that they are to hold “their own special event” at the 50,000 capacity Lancashire County Cricket Ground in Manchester on 28 July next year.

The show will follow the release of their second album, set for a late spring release, and the band promise to play their longest set to date, with support from their favourite music acts. Tickets for the event go on sale tomorrow at 12.30pm - registered fans, however, can buy tickets as of 12.30pm today - see http://www.arcticmonkeys.com for info.
