Sunday Best acts appear instore at FOPP

Sunday Best return to FOPP’s flagship record store on London’s Tottenham Court Road next Thursday 25th January for another FREE showcase of the label’s talents.

What’s more, there will be a free raffle on the night for someone to win 2 weekend tickets to Bestival 2007!

THE HAT (live)
Bestival favourites and Sunday Best’s newest signing.  The Hat make mini musical movies for your mind, ears and soul as they will guide you through twisted tales set against the sound track of drums, double bass and guitar, beat box, trumpet and trombone, piano, foley and lush harmonies.

SPORTSDAY MEGAPHONE (live)
Another fresh new signing to the label whose debut Less & Less EP is coming out on 25th February.  The sound of Sportsday Megaphone could be likened to Sonic Youth getting lost in the Casio section of Toys R’ Us - it’s rock, it’s electronica and it’s insuppressibly catchy.

ROB DA BANK
No Sunday Best event is complete without its much loved head hippie.  Robby will be spinning the freshest tunes money can (or can’t) buy!

SOMBRERO SOUND SYSTEM
The men with the big hats and the bigger tunes strike back! Ole!

Evening start around 6.30pm with the 1st act on not long after… so just come down straight after work!  The bar also sells tea, coffee and food for those doing the january detox or who are just in need of a bite to eat.
