A special benefit gig will take place at the Carling Islington Academy on 4 March in memory of the late Mega City Four frontman Darren ‘Wiz’ Brown who died suddenly last month after suffering from a blood clot on the brain.
The gig will feature Andy Cairns (Therapy?), Carter USM, Mark Keds (Senseless Things), Ned’s Atomic Dustbin, Midway Still and Reuben, and will be compered by Steve Lamacq.
Tickets are twenty quid, and allprofits from the gig will go to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice and The International Fund For Animal Welfare. It should be a great night, and a fitting tribute to Wiz, so well worth checking out. Info and booking stuff at…
