A gig featuring The Candyskins, The Nubiles, Smilex, Dustball, The Epstein, The Relationships, Winneabgo Deal, and afterwards Transformation, Smash Disco and Trashy DJ’s ’til the early hours will mark a milestone in the history of the much loved venue.

Thursday 17th May Oxford Zodiac, Both Floors 7pm - 2am 18+

To celebrate the end of an era, it was decided to throw a final celebratory party. This will be the final event to take place in the building before it closes for refurbishment. Expect a mix of both current bands and legendary Oxford bands from the past, who have contributed towards the creation and growth of the innovative and exciting Oxford music scene we enjoy today.

As with all class Zodiac special events it’s fancy dress - come as your favourite Rock Star!

Tickets are £12.50 and go on sale @ 1pm Saturday 28th April at the Zodiac Box Office.

Good new look for the site Bob, new since I last checked in anyway.
Poor lineup for the last night of the Zodiac, like to make any guesses about what sort of legendary oxford bands will be turning up for this? Bearing in mind Supergrass and Radiohead must have called it a home venue at some point, I suspect an ex member of Ride will turn up at some point.

Cheers mate! It is always evolving and now doesn’t look frubbish on IE either (IE users should complain more, I never use it so the bugs go unnoticed).

I think the rumour mill built up the last night a tad. Some Ride are bound to be there, unless the babysitter cancels on them of course…

I was just thinking I could dig out some Ride to listen to but then remembered that I have just moved house and all the CDs are in storage :(

How am I going to cope….
