Arctic Monkeys Audio Stream British English Music News Tour News ] 
Little Barrie return to the UK in May for a series of live dates and the release of their new single Pay to Join, out on May 7th on Genuine.
Taken from the critically acclaimed album Stand Your Ground, the new single is a hip shaking, bass driven epic, wound tight with a late night blues club fever. The immediacy of the new album’s songs and its relentless jacked-up rhythms has met with rapturous sell out crowds in the UK, Europe and a tour of Japan and Australia.
Released in Japan last year, the video for single Pay To Join, was filmed exclusively in Tokyo, for leading Japanese video channel Space Shower. Links to online video streams are at the end of this email.
Following a sell out headline show and London’s Scala in February, the band return for a UK Tour in May. Dates and ticket details below;

The much anticipated debut release Twelve Stops and Home from the U.K. quintet, The Feeling will be released February 27th, on Interscope/Cherrytree Records. The full-length release includes the very well known single “Sewn,” which was a favorite amongst many on their EP Four Stops and Home.
The Feeling delivers an amalgam of harmonic melodies and catchy choruses that reaches full fruition on Twelve Stops and Home. The release ranges from the classics of The Beatles and The Stones, to the more esoteric with the likes of ABBA and the Pet Shop Boys, and not forgetting the timelessness of Cole Porter and Harold Arlen.
The album’s title refers to the number of subway stops on the “Blue Picadilly” line in the Journey from Dan Gillespies’ home in London’s outskirts to the center of the city, and also to the listener’s voyage through the disc’s 12 tracks.

After eight months off the road working on the completion of THE SUN AND THE MOON, The Bravery are set to release their second Island Records album out May 22nd, first single “Time Won’t Let Me Go”. THE SUN AND THE MOON was produced and mixed by two-time Grammy Award winner Brendan O’Brien, best known for his work with Pearl Jam, Rage Against the Machine, Stone Temple Pilots, Neil Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and other multi-platinum acts. As reported on Billboard.com, “the album is tipped to include ‘The Ocean’ (an acoustic, string quartet-backed number, dealing with distances from loved ones) and other tracks include ‘Believe,’ ‘Bad Sun,’ and the harder-edged ‘Every Word from Your Mouth is A Knife in My Ear’.”
The new album follow -up the band’s self-titled Island debut, The Bravery (released March 29, 2005), which debuted #5 in the UK and #18 in the U.S. It spent 24 weeks on the Billboard 200 album chart. The album spun off the #12 Modern Rock track “An Honest Mistake,” whose memorable 25,000 domino-toppling video - distinguished by video director Michael Palmieri’s creative twist on Rube Goldberg mechanics - was nominated for the coveted MTV2 Award in 2005. The second single and video, “Unconditional,” took online honors at FUSE’s “Ovenfresh” program, beating out clips by Foo Fighters, 30 Seconds to Mars, and Death Cab For Cutie (among others). The Bravery were also part of Yahoo’s “Who’s Next” and “AOL Music’s Breaker program.”
Known for their energetic live shows, The Bravery toured the world headlining sold out shows in Europe, N. America, Asia and Australia. They also opened for U2 in Europe and supported Depeche Mode on their 2005 - 2006 world tour.
The Bravery - singer/guitarist and songwriter Sam Endicott, guitarist Michael Zakarin, bassist Michael Barreto Hindert, keyboardist John Conway, and drummer Anthony Burulcich - emerged from New York’s underground scene to pact with England’s Loog Records in 2003. In addition to “Artists To Watch” commendations for 2005 by MTV and Rolling Stone, the Bravery was named #1 “Most Promising Act of 2005″ on the BBC News website’s “Sound Of 2005″ poll. Since the release of their album, they have made tv appearances on NBC’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and Last Call with Carson Daly, and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Commenting on the band’s decision to work on a new album, which followed a reunion tour in 2003, Rowland writes the following: “In 2003, Dexys were at last reinvented for a critically acclaimed and rapturously received tour. But this time, those ideas were understood and very warmly welcomed. The world had caught up with us. 2007 could be a good year for fans of Kevin and Dexys”.
